Pages Manager App officially launched in 2012 with an iOS app (the Android version was released earlier this year), and was designed to let admins check on their Page activity, view insights and respond to their audience from their mobile device. You can keep track of up to 50 company service or product pages from your mobile phone. Before launching this tool, Facebook users who needed to moderate pages had to to use the regular Facebook app, but this didn’t give them any administrative controls.
Some features included with the app are:
- The ability to delete a post.
- Content that can be shared include status updates, links, pictures and other relevant media or content.
- A push notifications option.
- The ability to filter and regulate content availability by making it public or private.
- Access to private messages which can be responded to under the page name, instead of the administrator’s name.
As of recently, you can now schedule a post directly from the Pages Manager App. If you haven’t taken advantage of the Pages Manager app, you can download it one of two ways:
- from the iTunes Store or
- from the Google Play store.
Finally, an app that allows you the flexibility to manage your pages on the go! As promised, here’s how to schedule a post from your mobile device.
To schedule a post from the iphone or ipad
- Choose the type of post you want to add to your Page
- Tap
in the lower-left corner and select the date and time you’d like your post to appear
- Tap Schedule > Post
To schedule a post from the Android phone
- Choose the type of post you want to add to your Page
- Tap
in the lower-left corner
- Select the date and time you’d like your post to appear and tap Schedule
- Tap Schedule at the top right corner
You can view and manage your scheduled posts by tapping on Filter in the top right corner.

Thank you Lisa. I’ve been waiting for more features on this FB Pages app. Now if only we could schedule shares as well.
Have a splendid day!
Susan
I hear you Susan! I have a feeling scheduling shares will not be far behind. I’ve seen several people voicing their opinions all across social channels. You have a great day too! Lisa
Hootsuite and Buffer are two other apps that can help with scheduling posts to your social networks. They even have a cross-browser bookmarklet that will work on the iPad.
Hey. Glad I found this but I get no schedule icon when I try to scedule a photo post from the iphone app. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Thanks for reading Claudia! I use a Samsung Galaxy and haven’t had any issues, but I am polling my audience on my Facebook business page to see if anyone has had similiar experiences. Stay tuned. Here’s the link to follow feedback: https://www.facebook.com/BrandLoveLLC/posts/415918145192840
Stuck with the same issue down here in Brazil…any ideas how to solve this schedule photo post in IOS (iphone)?
HI Fabio,
I polled my Facebook audience to see if anyone was having similiar problems and someone said it was just a temporary glitch. I have an Android phone and haven’t experienced any problems yet. Sory that i wasn’t more helpful! Lisa https://www.facebook.com/BrandLoveLLC/posts/415918145192840
I have a question. I have the pages manager app for iOS and the schedule post feature only works on posts that have text. If I want to add a picture to the post the schedule icon disappears. Are you having issues scheduling picture posts on the android app? Do you know if other people have issues like this one with the iOS app? Thanks a bunch
I have the same issue, I can only schedule text, and it’s pretty annoying.
